First day of School

Pre –primary school reopened on 17th June 2019. WE welcomed the tiny toes by blowing bubbles and given some sweets in the 1st day. Students enjoyed walking on creative foot trail on the 2nd day. Primary section was also welcomed with bubbles, hand puppet and enjoyed walking foot print path. The school was decorated with welcome charts and ‘Rainy Season’ theme. Different activities were conducted. Students enjoyed the welcome and entered school with smiling faces.

Field Visit

The main objectives of conducting a field trips for students is to reinforce experiential and contextual learning. Field trips are a way of enhancing classroom learning by making real world connections. Field trips stimulate students’ reasoning skills. School has arranged an educational field visit for the students as follows:

  • Nationalize Bank

Yoga Day

Yoga day was held on 21st June 2019. Children performed Suryanamaskar under guidance of Mr. Shaikh Sir (P.T.Teacher) Children performed enthusiastically and importance of yoga in our day to day life was explained to the students

Orientation Meeting

Parent’s orientation meeting was conducted on 22nd June 2019. Our Principal Mr. Shailesh Darekar explained all, the school rules to be followed for the smooth functioning. He also explained parent’s role during pre-schooling of child. He emphasized on English speaking and parent’s participation during learning through English Medium School by their ward. All class teachers and non-teaching staff was introduced to parents. A PTA election and Transport Committee election was held on the same day at the meeting place. Representative members were elected by lottery system.

Ganapati Statue Making shop

Students of Adarsh Public School made Eco- Friendly Ganesh Idol making workshop on August 2019. Enthusiasm among the students was such high that the entire atmosphere transformed in to real old Indian culture. Children made Ganesha idols from lay with devotion, passion and creativity. They also get themselves apprised of ill effect of pop on environment. It has been proved that time again the old rituals of Indian culture are environment friendly. Students were extremely excited to take the Ganesha idols prepare by them to their homes. Such kind of step to protect environment is good and will increase the creativity in the children.

Granth Dindi

We celebrated procession on 11th July 2019 on previous day of Ashadi Ekadashi. All the students dress up in traditional varkaridress. Some wore the costume of Vithal Rukhamini. WE had a small vari in the school premises and at Akulgaon with the slogan of god and snats. All the students and Teachers enjoyed putting up traditional tila in the school. We gave students a packed Chikhi as a sweet of the day.

Counseling session for Parents

Adarsh Public School CBSE organized a counseling session for parents of Class Nursery to VI in between 18th November2019 to 20th November 2019 in the school by Mr. Shailesh Darekar Sir (Principal, APS). He has experience in Guidance and Counseling field. This counseling session was based on few important point like parenting, student parent relation, Child behavior and development, teen issue, mental health, academic growth, confidence and self esteem.

Educational Field Trip

Educational field trips give students the opportunity to have first-hand experience and to explore world. They provide the students and opportunity for a practical “real world” experiences. It develops direct leadership and creativity in students. APS CBSE arranged a field trip for Class I to VI students on various places such as :

  • Naldurg Trip
  • Hyderabad Trip
  • Pandharpur Trip

Gurupournima

We celebrated Gurupournuma on 15th July 2019. We worshiped Maharshi Vyas, Lord Ganesh & Sarswati. Teacher told importance of all (parents, grandparents and teachers) the Guru’s in the life. Our principal Sir explained how to show respect and gratitude towards all the teachers/guru’s we come across.

Cooking Activity

To give enhance experience without cooking nutritious food making process.

  • School has arranged bhel making 18th October 2019
  • School has arranged Sandwich making on 24th October 2019.

Gandhi Jayanti Celebration:

Is our national festival. We celebrated it on 1st October 2019 with great zeal, enthusiasm & patriotism. Few students were dressed up as Mahtama Gandhiji. School arranged drawing & colouring activity. The subject given was cleanliness.

Gandhi Jayanti Celebration:

On October 2019 parent’s competition was conducted in school to encourage parent’s involvement in their word’s early age learning experience. We had arranged following competitions.

  • Colouring the picture
  • Playing music chairs with pairs.

Diwali Celebration

Our little ones experienced a Diwali celebration on 18th October2019. Each day of Diwali has a different meaning to it. Teachers explained the importance of each day in a simple language. Each day we displayed different and relevant pictures; real objects along with the PPT. Students enjoyed decorating days. As a love from school students were given packed snacks (Faral, Ladoo and Chiwada). Students wore colourful dresses.

Dussera

Dussera os also known as Vijayadashmi teachers explained the student’s importance of this festival. Some students performed one social drama / act on this day.

Workshop for Teachers

On 12th June 2019.Balchitrakala Workshop was held for teachers. Smt. Abha Bhagavat the resource person explained all teachers’ importance of drawing at early age. Different types of activities and age wise creation of art. It was great help for our teachers. The session was informative and inspiring.

Rakshabandhan

Rakshabandhan is a significant festival celebrating the beautiful bond of love between a brother and sister. We celebrated this festival on 16th August 2019 by making rakhi to send these rakhi to the soldiers via post.

Dahi Handi

The dahi handi festival was celebrated on Friday 23rd August 2019 with lots of enthusiasm. Student’s came in Lord Krishna and Radha’s costume. The important message we want to emphasis on this Dahi Handi is “Together We Can Achieve Good Things” We. Wanted to inculcate cleanliness habits in our students such as “Use Dustbin To Keep Your Class, School Clean.” Together they enjoyed traditional ceremony..

Post card writing Activity

Our students wrote the letter to their grandparents who lives far away from them and posted it in the post office. It was an informative experience for our young learners.

Annual Festival

Annual Festival “Sneh-Bandh” 20th & 21st December 2019 was arranged at school premises. In this festival our little champ performed Sneh-Bandh festival very nicely and everyone participated in this festival. Because of this festival our students shown different act, dance, song and drama in this way they enjoyed the whole festival and they understood real attachment in between parents and their child. In whole festival some drama was very emotionally felt to parents and audience also.

Christmas Celebration

A Christmas celebration was held on 26th December 2019. Christmas brings cheer and love and we celebrate it with same fervor, spreading the message of love and joy among our children. The festive spirit was witnessed among school staff and students. The students spread cheer with their smiles and lovely attire. The delightful celebration includes various activities which included games and dance. Students and teachers participated in the games. We all enjoyed a lot

School Events

Knowledge of various subjects is imparted in the school for the physical, intellectual and mental development of the students by imparting social as well as commercial knowledge to the student. It is also a temple of knowledge. Various educational activities are implemented in the school [so that the society will prosper and the country will progress gradually if the students achieves all the marks.] the all ground development of the students so the society and the counting all progress gradually.

Bal - Sabha

In order to nurture the latent qualities in the students, children arrange the assembly & the whole celebration of the birth & death anniversaries of great personalities to increase the conversational capacity & stage daring of the students

Welcome ceremony of new students

New entrants to the school are welcome with great enthusiasm every year in the month of June. New students are greeted with applause by performing nursery rhymes and babbling songs as well as blowing balloons in the air.

Co-curricular activities

Co-curricular activities are organized in the school along with school activities to develop many aspects of the personality of the students to become all-round personality. While implementing these co-curricular activities all these activities are carried out student-centered to achieve the purpose and objective behind the activities. All the work of pre-preparation, program magazine is done by the students of the school. The teachers here only act as guides.

All co-curricular activities carried out in the school are aimed at developing the latent quantities in the students as well as their various skills.

Raksha- Bandhan

Rakhi making workshops are conducted in the school. The same rakhi’s are used by the girls to bind the boys and preserve the greatness of the sacred band of siblings. Some students also tie rakhi to the trees and tell then to plant trees and keep them alive give message plant trees save trees.

Days of yoga

Yoga day is celebrated in the school to convince the students of the importance of yoga and pranayama for living a healthy and wholesome life.

Dahi-Handi

Gopalkala is celebrated in a very enthusiastic atmosphere in the school on the occasion of Gokulshtami.

Teacher’s Day

The importance of Guru is explained by celebrating Teacher’s Day in the school on the occasion of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan birthday.

Reading Inspiration Day

Former president of India Dr. Abdul Kalam’s birthday is celebrated in the school as Reading inspiration Day. On this day, children are allowed to read books all day along in addition to their studies .

Children’s Day

Nov 14 is the birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. It is celebrated with great enthusiasm in the school as children’s day

Science Day

The school hosts a science exhibition on Feb 28th on the occasion of science day

Marathi official language Day

Marathi Rajbhasha Din is celebrated on 27th Feb with great enthusiasm in the school

Lectures

Lectures by expert mentors are conducted to guide the students bared on various topics

Educational Trip & Book Fair

Various educational trips are organized to give students a direct experience.

On the occasion of Dr. Abdul Kalam’s birthday, a book fair is organized in the school

Co-School Competition

In order to develop various skills in the students, competitions are held on a monthly basis in four houses (Blue,Red,Yellow,& Green) The first round is for the entire class and specific students are selected from four houses and from the final round the winning house and students are selected and certificates are given to the winning students and the winning house.

Rangoli Competition

Rangoli competitions are held in the school every year in which the school every year in which students draw rangoli with social messages.
